Babaloos Cuban Cafe is an authentic Cuban/Caribbean Cafe. We will cater to young professionals and families alike. Great service, a professional staff, and an experienced chef produce a unique dining environment. Fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, and a creative menu will combine to make exotic flavorful dishes.
Established in 2008 Chef Robert and Chef Mayra set out in 2007 to open a small, café style restaurant where one could find authentic Cuban food as well as modern Caribbean cuisine. Their search brought them to the Foothills of Ahwatukee, a community they both call home.

Mom calls Babaloo's antiguo y moderno, spanish for 'antique and modern,' but roughly translated today as old and new. Mayra’s son, Chef Robert Gonzalez, takes the recipes handed down from his great- grandmother and adds his signature modern style and expression to traditional Caribbean flavors.
